I was told in turkey by doctors that I need a surgery for my eyes cause I'm almost blind but here in Greece I went to many NGO's and they told me go to a private doctor but they cut my cash card because of the rejections. How can I go?
Melissa Network is a family for the refugees here. Even when I don't have anything here I just come to hang out. They help us with everything. I remember once when I wasn't feeling well. They called a taxi and took me right away to the hospital to do examinations.
The computer course is fine and also the language lesson is good these are very usefull but the language of computers are Greek. I told them to chage the language to English they said no it is impossible.
It is a nice place. I mean better than where I was at the island. At least it is secure. The only problem is that the rooms are small and we live with another 4 women with their children in the room. We don't have privacy. It gets too noisy with all these kids. Also, they put me with Farsi women which I can't communicate with so it is hard. They should separate ethnicities.
I entered Greece and I still haven't recovered from the effects of surgery in Turkey. I tried at first to get International Protection through Skype. After suffering for more than 4 months, I finally go to know MSF in the office of Platia Amerikis. They helped me a lot in getting health care. I want to say for all of the organitsation that we need more help. Here there are many refugees who couldn't integrate in this society. They need more help and support.
I like the MSF doctors. They are so kind. Also, the hospital where I gave birth, Tzaneio, is amazing. Clean, staff is kind. The only problem with hopsitals here is interpretation. And the problem is there is no organisation that offers interpreters escorting refugees to hospitals. They should have organisations that escort refugees.
I'm here from 2016. I started my school from here. I was satisfied from Greek class. About English it wasn't like Greek class but it was good. Because English lesson don't have specific teacher it change every time. Melissa have good Psychologist, and social worker works with us as well. Staff are very good and kind people. Here have nice training classes like art. Here I feel calm, comfort, convention. Here is better than every were. Organizations do nothing for us. We can't buy clothes for ourselves and our kids. They should open classes for training, job, makeup, and cooking. I found some job as servant. When I went to the house they said oooohhhhhh, she is Muslim. After that they said to me No we don't need now. We will call you. While I knew they need servant but they don't like me. Because I'm Muslim. I recommend: English class with teacher who doesn't change and go with program. Also please let me know I you found job. Any job, no bather me.
I was injured by the lawyer after the asylum application was rejected me. This was a mistake from the interpreter in the asylum department, also the investigator who didn't ask any more to be sure about what I had said. There was a big misunderstanding between what I said and what was recorded. I have lost one year and a half and a lot of money. Now I have a new lawyer. I don't how will be. Don't ask me about services what I recived from the organisations. They don't help too much. Personally I didn't recive any support.
I started my classes from Melissa. Here was very useful for us but our camp was far and when I want to come back to my home it was very hard to me and the weather was dark and I was afraid. Also children were in school that's why I couldn't come here.
In Eleonas Camp where I been living for almost 2 years, Social Services aren't very effective. Most times it doesn't offer many of the services we need. Many people don't have contact with the social services because that. In Eleonas Camp there is a dentist but in the reality they don't offer anything because they don't have the material. I pay for medication from my pocket since no organisation helps me with that. When you live during 3 years in a camp you start to feel that your life is a hell.
